PARIKHIT BISWAS

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Parikhit Biswas has completed his Bachelors in Architecture (2014) and Master of Urban and Regional Planning (2016) from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur. Currently he is pursuing PhD from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Within his career tenure, he have been involved with various architecture firm, i.e. Sumit Maity Architects New Delhi, Maheswari Associates Kolkata etc. Within the academic domain, previously he served the Sanaka Group of Institutions, Durgapur as an Assistant professor. His research interest includes urban economics, urban management, planning, and city rejuvenation strategy.

Parikhit Biswas is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata. He completed his Bachelor's in Architecture in 2014 and Master of Urban and Regional Planning in 2016 from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur. Currently pursuing his PhD at Jadavpur University, Parikhit has garnered extensive professional experience with architecture firms such as Sumit Maity Architects in New Delhi and Maheswari Associates in Kolkata. In the academic realm, he previously held the position of Assistant Professor at Sanaka Group of Institutions, Durgapur. Parikhit's research interests are centered around urban economics, urban management, planning, and city rejuvenation strategies, reflecting his commitment to advancing sustainable urban development practices through both teaching and research.
