Piyali Guhathakurta is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at Sister Nivedita University (SNU), bringing over 15 years of extensive experience in architectural and interior design to her role. She holds a B. Arch from AIIA and a Masters in City Planning from IIT Kharagpur. Throughout her career, Piyali has made significant contributions to a diverse array of projects, including large-scale commercial and educational developments. She has a particular expertise in green building projects and has been actively involved in various Smart City initiatives. Piyali's academic journey includes two years of full-time teaching experience, where she leverages her industry insights to educate and inspire the next generation of architects. She is registered with the Council of Architecture, New Delhi, and holds memberships with the Institute of Town Planners and the Indian Institute of Architects, reflecting her commitment to professional excellence and continuing education in the field of architecture.
