ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Ar. Soumyadeep Dutta is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata. With a background in B. Arch from DIT University and an M. Arch in Urban Design from Jadavpur University, he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at Jadavpur University. His professional experience includes significant contributions to large-scale urban infrastructure projects nationally, collaborating with entities like the Ministry of Railways, Port Trust, Ministry of Power, and Smart Cities. In academia, he brings over 3 years of teaching experience across various architecture disciplines and has authored numerous research papers focusing on Urban Transformation, Urban Placemaking, and Human Cognition.
Ar. Soumyadeep Dutta serves as an Assistant Professor of Architecture at Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata. He holds a B. Arch degree from DIT University and completed his M. Ar. Dutta is actively engaged in institutional consultancy, leveraging his expertise in architectural and urban design.
In the academic sphere, Ar. Dutta brings over 3 years of teaching experience, delivering courses on Architectural Design, Urban Design, Climatology, AI in Architecture, Building Materials & Construction. His scholarly pursuits are underscored by a robust research portfolio, comprising over 14 research papers published in reputable national and international indexed journals and conference proceedings. He is also a guest reviewer for major publication houses, contributing his insights to the academic discourse on Urban Transformation of Spaces, Urban Placemaking, Human Cognition, Behaviour, and Perception.
