Dr. Das has 12 years of Teaching experience. His area of research is based on parametric study of Urban Transformations related to Mass Rapid Transit System and Urban Developments, especially in the Core Areas of a City, from an Urban Design viewpoint. He has presented papers in conferences, published papers in peer reviewed journals, both at national and at international levels.

DR. ABHIROOP DAS biography

Dr. Abhiroop Das serves as an Associate Professor of Architecture at Sister Nivedita University. He obtained his Bachelor of Architecture from Utkal University, followed by a Master of Architecture and a Ph.D. from Jadavpur University. Dr. Das brings over 4 years of professional experience to the table, having worked on a variety of residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

With 12 years of teaching experience, Dr. Das is deeply involved in academia. His research primarily focuses on the parametric study of urban transformations, particularly related to Mass Rapid Transit Systems and urban developments in the core areas of cities from an urban design perspective. He has a robust portfolio of presenting papers at conferences and publishing in peer-reviewed journals both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Das is an active member of the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) and is also registered with the Council of Architecture, New Delhi. His extensive experience and research contributions make him a valuable asset to the field of architecture and urban planning.
